The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उत्पन्नध्वंसिनः स्वप्नाः स्मर्यन्ते बहवो यथा ।
तथैव बुद्धैः स्मर्यन्ते सिद्धैर्जन्मशतान्यपि ॥ ३० ॥

utpannadhvaṃsinaḥ svapnāḥ smaryante bahavo yathā |
tathaiva buddhaiḥ smaryante siddhairjanmaśatānyapi || 30 ||

As the living mortals may well recollect the very many sleeping dreams, they have seen throughout their lives; so the immortalized souls of siddhas well remember, the number of waking dreams which they had seen, in their past transmigrations in different bodies.
