The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

न किंचिद्रूपिणी पीना नानाभुवनपूरिणी ।
भूताकुला निरालोका सुदीर्घेव तमोमयी ॥ १६ ॥

na kiṃcidrūpiṇī pīnā nānābhuvanapūriṇī |
bhūtākulā nirālokā sudīrgheva tamomayī || 16 ||

Avidya or Nescience has no form nor shape, save that of its shapeless bulk, which fills all worlds; it is a long and broad mass of darkness, and infested by demons and devils.
