The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अन्तशून्या ग्रन्थिमती श्लक्ष्णा स्वङ्कुरकण्टका ।
जडा रसमयी दीर्घा लतेव वनवैणवी ॥ १४ ॥

antaśūnyā granthimatī ślakṣṇā svaṅkurakaṇṭakā |
jaḍā rasamayī dīrghā lateva vanavaiṇavī || 14 ||

Some growing as thorny plants, all hollow within and hollow without, while others are straight and herbaceous as the succulent reeds or sugar cane.
