The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आश्चर्यं सुघनं व्यग्रं द्रव्यं सप्रतिघं स्थितम् ।
तथेते भूतिभूर्नास्ति वर्तमानानुभूतिभूः ॥ ५६ ॥

āścaryaṃ sughanaṃ vyagraṃ dravyaṃ sapratighaṃ sthitam |
tathete bhūtibhūrnāsti vartamānānubhūtibhūḥ || 56 ||

It is wonderful, how this subtile world appears as a solid body to us; it is only our conception of it as such that makes it appear so unto us; but conception is no substance at all, therefore the world has no substantiality in it.
