The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अदुःखमक्षयत्वात्तदतो दुःखं क्व कस्यचित् ।
वाच्यं सवाचकं सर्वं यत्र चिद्व्योममात्रकम् ॥ ५३ ॥

aduḥkhamakṣayatvāttadato duḥkhaṃ kva kasyacit |
vācyaṃ savācakaṃ sarvaṃ yatra cidvyomamātrakam || 53 ||

The intellect being free from pain, there is no cause of complaint in any intellectual being; since the word world and all that it means to express, are but manifestations of vacuous intellect.
