The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रवृत्तः स्वर्गसंमोहे पूर्वाभ्यासवशीकृतः ।
मन्दारकानने तत्र भ्रमतो वै ममाम्बरे ॥ १२ ॥

pravṛttaḥ svargasaṃmohe pūrvābhyāsavaśīkṛtaḥ |
mandārakānane tatra bhramato vai mamāmbare || 12 ||

You are propelled by your previous predilection to prefer the pleasures of heaven; therefore I must direct you to dwell in my paradise, and wander there amidst my gardens of mandara trees.
