The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देहो मेरुशताकारमहाशव इवाभवत् ।
द्वितीयोर्वीनिभो व्योम्नः पपाताशनिवज्रवत् ॥ १३ ॥

deho meruśatākāramahāśava ivābhavat |
dvitīyorvīnibho vyomnaḥ papātāśanivajravat || 13 ||

His great body resembling a hundred mountainous ranges, became a huge mass of carcass; which fell down with the hideous clattering of thunders, as one earth falling upon another.
