The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.156.22

मन्त्री वदिष्यति ।
तेन संप्रार्थिता देवी सर्वकालमखेदिना ।
मोक्षोऽस्तु मम संसारादिति तामरसेक्षण ॥ २२ ॥

mantrī vadiṣyati |
tena saṃprārthitā devī sarvakālamakhedinā |
mokṣo'stu mama saṃsārāditi tāmarasekṣaṇa || 22 ||

The minister will reply said:—Because he always prayed the goddess with earnestness of his heart, to give him liberation from the cares and troubles of this world.
