The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.156.20

सिन्धुर्वदिष्यति ।
त्वया वै युक्तं कथितं यद्येवं तद्विदूरथः ।
अशक्यो जेतुमाश्चर्य एतस्य समरे वधः ॥ २० ॥

sindhurvadiṣyati |
tvayā vai yuktaṃ kathitaṃ yadyevaṃ tadvidūrathaḥ |
aśakyo jetumāścarya etasya samare vadhaḥ || 20 ||

Sindhu then will answer him saying said:—If what thou sayest is true, it is wondrous indeed, how then could the invincible Viduratha come to be slain by me in warfare.
