The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.156.17

मन्त्री वदिष्यति ।
लीला नामास्य भार्यास्ति तयातितपसार्जिता ।
माता सरस्वतीदेवी जगद्धात्री निरञ्जना ॥ १७ ॥

mantrī vadiṣyati |
līlā nāmāsya bhāryāsti tayātitapasārjitā |
mātā sarasvatīdevī jagaddhātrī nirañjanā || 17 ||

The minister will reply said:—This lord has Lila as his lady, who had won the favour of the fair goddess Sarasvati; who is the supportress of the world, by her extreme devotion to her.
