The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तमिमं संत्यजाम्येव देहमाविवृतान्तरम् ।
नानेन किंचिदाप्नोमि साधुसच्छास्त्रसंगमम् ॥ ४४ ॥

tamimaṃ saṃtyajāmyeva dehamāvivṛtāntaram |
nānena kiṃcidāpnomi sādhusacchāstrasaṃgamam || 44 ||

I must therefore cast off this prolated body of mine, which is of no use to me, in the acquisition of knowledge or in keeping company with wise and holy men.
