The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कियदन्तमिदं दृश्यं स्यात्पश्याम्येतदादितः ।
दूरतोर्ध्वप्रमाणेन तपोलब्धशरीरकः ॥ ६ ॥

kiyadantamidaṃ dṛśyaṃ syātpaśyāmyetadāditaḥ |
dūratordhvapramāṇena tapolabdhaśarīrakaḥ || 6 ||

Let me see, said he, the extent of the visibles from the beginning;and this I will do from a distance, by means of the spiritual body, which I have gained by means of devotion.
