The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मुनिरुवाच ।
इत्युक्त्वा स मुनिस्तत्र तूष्णीं स्वशयने निशि ।
आसीद्विस्मयतश्चाहमथाऽऽसं प्रोह्यमानवत् ॥ १ ॥

ityuktvā sa munistatra tūṣṇīṃ svaśayane niśi |
āsīdvismayataścāhamathā''saṃ prohyamānavat || 1 ||

The sage resumed:—Saying so the sage held his silence, and lay himself in his bed at night; and I was as bewildered in my mind, as if blown away by the winds.
