The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मयातिचिरमाभोगि भ्रान्तं संसारमण्डलम् ।
स्थावरादाऽऽत्मनः कस्मात्प्राप्तं गलबिलं न तत् ॥ ३४ ॥

mayāticiramābhogi bhrāntaṃ saṃsāramaṇḍalam |
sthāvarādā''tmanaḥ kasmātprāptaṃ galabilaṃ na tat || 34 ||

I then wandered throughout the vast expanse of the sphere of this earth, and searched amidst all fixed and living bodies herein, but could not find that opening of the throat from which I had come out.
