The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उपदेष्टा मुनिरयमेषोऽत्र भ्रान्तिमात्रकम् ।
ब्रह्मैवाहमिवाभाति रूपमेतद्दिवाभ्रवत् ॥ २१ ॥
upadeṣṭā munirayameṣo'tra bhrāntimātrakam |
brahmaivāhamivābhāti rūpametaddivābhravat || 21 ||
That this sage is my preceptor and I am his pupil, is all a mistake; because I am in and the very Brahma, and the person sitting here by me, is as the man in the moon or in the cloud.
