The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रसूनं ब्रह्मवृक्षस्य तरङ्गमिव वाम्बुधेः ।
अनुत्कीर्णप्रकटनाच्चित्स्तम्भे चारुपुत्रिका ॥ ८ ॥

prasūnaṃ brahmavṛkṣasya taraṅgamiva vāmbudheḥ |
anutkīrṇaprakaṭanāccitstambhe cāruputrikā || 8 ||

The world is but a blossom of the great arbour of Brahma, or a little billow of vast ocean of Eternity; it is a sculpture on the colossal pillar of the Intellect, without being carved out or cast upon it.
