The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.145.55

यदा परिणतं यत्नं पुनः सौषिर्यमागतम् ।
पुनर्वेत्ति तदा जीवः स्वप्नं प्राणावबोधितः ॥ ५५ ॥

yadā pariṇataṃ yatnaṃ punaḥ sauṣiryamāgatam |
punarvetti tadā jīvaḥ svapnaṃ prāṇāvabodhitaḥ || 55 ||

As heavy food is digested by the digestive organ of the body, and afterward by a separate juice a new energy comes within, so the vital air which once disappeared, makes its appearance again.
