The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हयोष्ट्रगरुडाम्भोदहंसयानावरोहणम् ।
यक्षविद्याधरादीनां गत्यागमनसंचरम् ॥ ३७ ॥

hayoṣṭragaruḍāmbhodahaṃsayānāvarohaṇam |
yakṣavidyādharādīnāṃ gatyāgamanasaṃcaram || 37 ||

It seems to be riding about on horse back, or upon a camel or eagle or on the back of a cloud, or riding in a chariot drawn by ganders or swans.
