The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

द्वयं भवेद्वयं नश्यत्यन्यस्याचलसंविदः ॥ ६८ ॥

dvayaṃ bhavedvayaṃ naśyatyanyasyācalasaṃvidaḥ || 68 ||

We have seen the man of steady consciousness, attain to the object or state of his wish, by his firm perseverance; while on the contrary the unsteady minded are sure to lose them both:
