The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.143.54

तच्चेदर्थस्ततो ज्ञप्तेर्नायं तस्याः पृथक् स्थितः ।
स्थिते ज्ञप्त्यात्मनि त्वर्थे त्वज्ञप्त्यायं ततो व्रजेत् ॥ ५४ ॥

taccedarthastato jñapternāyaṃ tasyāḥ pṛthak sthitaḥ |
sthite jñaptyātmani tvarthe tvajñaptyāyaṃ tato vrajet || 54 ||

Such being the meaning (of this mystery), the knowable One is not distinct from knowledge of Him; but being seated in our finite understanding, is quite unknown to and apart from the ignorant, that have no knowledge of the knowable One.
