The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आकाश एव कचनं यच्चित्ते स्वात्मरूपिणी ।
नियतं संनिवेशत्वात्तदन्तः सर्ग उच्यते ॥ २६ ॥

ākāśa eva kacanaṃ yaccitte svātmarūpiṇī |
niyataṃ saṃniveśatvāttadantaḥ sarga ucyate || 26 ||

The divine mind develops itself in its own form of the sky, and the world that is for ever situated therein, is then called the creation and lying in the expanse of that sky.
