The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.143.24

संविद्धनोदरे सर्गे कार्यकारणता स्थिता ।
तथा यथोहिता तेन त्वया वा कल्पनापुरम् ॥ २४ ॥

saṃviddhanodare sarge kāryakāraṇatā sthitā |
tathā yathohitā tena tvayā vā kalpanāpuram || 24 ||

The causality and effectuality are both contained in the womb of the dense Intellect; and these are exerted in the same manner in the act of creation of the world, as in that of the construction of thy imaginary castle.
