The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ततस्तस्मिंस्तथा दृष्टे भूतले तैः पदार्थकैः ।
व्यवहारं प्रवृत्तोऽहं किंचिद्विस्मृतधीरितः ॥ २९ ॥

tatastasmiṃstathā dṛṣṭe bhūtale taiḥ padārthakaiḥ |
vyavahāraṃ pravṛtto'haṃ kiṃcidvismṛtadhīritaḥ || 29 ||

Then on seeing the things, as they were exposed to my sight on the earth; I began to manage with them in a manner as I had somewhat forgotten their right and proper use.
