The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथ क्षणेन सलिलं तदशेषेण निर्ययौ ।
वीच्यग्रस्फुटिताकारैर्देवैस्तारकिताम्बरम् ॥ १३ ॥

atha kṣaṇena salilaṃ tadaśeṣeṇa niryayau |
vīcyagrasphuṭitākārairdevaistārakitāmbaram || 13 ||

Thence I saw the waters to subside in their basins, and the stars of heaven shining upon them, like the sparkling particles of their splashing billows, or as their foaming and floating froths.
