The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नानावलनकल्लोलजलजालजुषा तदा ।
न तदस्ति न यद्दृष्टं दुःखं दुःखात्मना मया ॥ ४१ ॥

nānāvalanakallolajalajālajuṣā tadā |
na tadasti na yaddṛṣṭaṃ duḥkhaṃ duḥkhātmanā mayā || 41 ||

Being then ingulfed in the water, and carried away by the waves and current wheresoever they pleased, I lost the sight of whatever I was seeing, and was greatly dejected in my mind.
