The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नान्यत्र प्रथते ज्ञानं मोक्षोपायविचारणात् ।
ऋते तस्मात्प्रयत्नेन मोक्षोपायो विचार्यताम् ॥ ८ ॥

nānyatra prathate jñānaṃ mokṣopāyavicāraṇāt |
ṛte tasmātprayatnena mokṣopāyo vicāryatām || 8 ||

There is no way to true knowledge, except by means of the investigations of liberation; therefore be employed with all vigilance to inquire into the means of liberation.
