The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.138.30

सर्ववित्त्वात्तु तेनेदं मनस्त्वं चेतितं स्वतः ।
रूपमत्यजता शुद्धं बुद्धमाधिविवर्जितम् ॥ ३० ॥

sarvavittvāttu tenedaṃ manastvaṃ cetitaṃ svataḥ |
rūpamatyajatā śuddhaṃ buddhamādhivivarjitam || 30 ||

The Lord being omniscient, took upon him the form of hypostasis of the mind, without forsaking his nature of pure intelligence, and exemption from disease and decay.
