The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वार्थमात्रोऽद्य तस्यान्तः परकृत्यं न कस्यचित् ।
कचति स्वार्थसत्तायामेतदेव वपुर्यतः ॥ २२ ॥

svārthamātro'dya tasyāntaḥ parakṛtyaṃ na kasyacit |
kacati svārthasattāyāmetadeva vapuryataḥ || 22 ||

The soul is then employed in its consciousness of supreme bliss in itself, and takes no notice of the actions of others; and the body also then rests in perfect blissfulness, in that state of sound sleep.
