The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नृत्यन्त्यां चण्डिकायां खे भूतवृन्दे शवाकुले ।
देवेष्वद्रिषु तिष्ठत्सु बभूव भुवनं तदा ॥ २५ ॥

nṛtyantyāṃ caṇḍikāyāṃ khe bhūtavṛnde śavākule |
deveṣvadriṣu tiṣṭhatsu babhūva bhuvanaṃ tadā || 25 ||

As the goddess was dancing in the air, and her hobgoblins were prancing over the carcass; the celestials remained sitting on the mountain tops, and kept looking on this dreadful scene.
