The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.134.22

शवशैलो गृहीतोऽसौ कुम्भाण्डैः कटिभागतः ।
उदराद्रूपिकावृन्दैर्यक्षैः कुञ्जरविक्षतैः ॥ २२ ॥

śavaśailo gṛhīto'sau kumbhāṇḍaiḥ kaṭibhāgataḥ |
udarādrūpikāvṛndairyakṣaiḥ kuñjaravikṣataiḥ || 22 ||

The mountainous carcass, was laid hold by the clutches of Kumbhandas, and torn to a thousand pieces by them; while the Rupikas bored its belly, and the yakshas gored its back with their elephantine tusks.
