The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शिरालदीर्घदोर्दण्डवनीकृतनभस्तला ।
किरन्ती कीर्णदिग्दाहैर्दृष्टिपातैर्दिवाकरान् ॥ ६ ॥

śirāladīrghadordaṇḍavanīkṛtanabhastalā |
kirantī kīrṇadigdāhairdṛṣṭipātairdivākarān || 6 ||

Her long and muscular arms, are stretched to the skies as the tall pines of the forest; and her eyeballs flash forth with living fire, and scatter the solar beams all around.
