The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स यावदुदराभिख्यो देहभागोऽस्य येन भूः ।
सप्तद्वीपापि पिहिताऽमातुः शैलोपमो महान् ॥ २ ॥

sa yāvadudarābhikhyo dehabhāgo'sya yena bhūḥ |
saptadvīpāpi pihitā'mātuḥ śailopamo mahān || 2 ||

I distinguished that part of its body which was its belly, and had hid in it the whole earth, with all its seven continents and immeasurable mountain.
