The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.133.20

क्षोभणं जलराशीनामद्रीणां भूतलार्पणम् ।
पीडनं सर्वभूतानां क्रीडनं प्रलयार्थिनाम् ॥ २० ॥

kṣobhaṇaṃ jalarāśīnāmadrīṇāṃ bhūtalārpaṇam |
pīḍanaṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ krīḍanaṃ pralayārthinām || 20 ||

It perturbed the waters of the deep, and hurled down the hills to the ground; it crushed all living beings, and gave ample range to the sport of the agents of destruction.
