The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वात्मनो नाशमाशंक्य सद्वीपभुवनैः सह ।
अवश्यभाविपार्श्वस्थमहमग्निमथाविशम् ॥ ८ ॥

avaśyabhāvipārśvasthamahamagnimathāviśam || 8 ||

I dreaded my imminent destruction, together with that of whole earth under its blow; and determined to enter into the ever burning fire by my side.
