The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.131.21

चिन्मात्रं यद्यदाभातं जलवाहविवर्तवत् ।
तत्तादृक्कथमन्याभमन्यस्यासंभवाद्भवेत् ॥ २१ ॥

cinmātraṃ yadyadābhātaṃ jalavāhavivartavat |
tattādṛkkathamanyābhamanyasyāsaṃbhavādbhavet || 21 ||

The intellect operates in itself, like the running waters in whirlpools; and as the eddies and their swelling bubbles, are no other than the very water, so the operations of the mind, are modifications of the mind itself.
