The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अप्राप्तोत्तमबोधानां बोधवेद्या विलक्षणाः ।
भवन्त्येवंविधा राजन्बहूनां बहवो भृशम् ॥ ३ ॥

aprāptottamabodhānāṃ bodhavedyā vilakṣaṇāḥ |
bhavantyevaṃvidhā rājanbahūnāṃ bahavo bhṛśam || 3 ||

Viswamitra said:—O king, there are many such men, who without a good understanding, and for want of best knowledge; are apt to think that all things are possible to be known by them.
