The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथोपविश्य तत्रैव स भासो ध्यानसंस्थितः ।
आत्मोदन्तमशेषेण सस्मार प्राक्तनं तनौ ॥ २४ ॥
athopaviśya tatraiva sa bhāso dhyānasaṃsthitaḥ |
ātmodantamaśeṣeṇa sasmāra prāktanaṃ tanau || 24 ||
He sat in the hall in his meditative mood, and remembered all the incidents of his past life and former body.
