The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.130.16

अदृश्यताथ ज्वालायामन्तःकनककान्तिमान् ।
पुरुषः पावनाकारः कान्तावयवसुन्दरः ॥ १६ ॥

adṛśyatātha jvālāyāmantaḥkanakakāntimān |
puruṣaḥ pāvanākāraḥ kāntāvayavasundaraḥ || 16 ||

It was seen amidst the flame, to assume a figure as that of pure gold; which afterwards took the form of a man, of handsome shape and appearance.
