The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.126.24

तस्यां भूमौ च मध्ये च विपश्चिन्नाकितामगात् ।
उत्तमामग्निमध्यस्थं क्षणात्काष्ठमिवाग्निताम् ॥ २४ ॥

tasyāṃ bhūmau ca madhye ca vipaścinnākitāmagāt |
uttamāmagnimadhyasthaṃ kṣaṇātkāṣṭhamivāgnitām || 24 ||

In this land the prince Vipaschit attained the state of a Godhead, in the same manner as a piece of wood is turned to fire in a burning furnace.
