The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ततोऽशीतिसहस्राणि योजनानां घनावनिम् ।
हिमकल्पजलाम्भोधेरुल्लङ्घ्य सुघनोदरीम् ॥ २२ ॥

tato'śītisahasrāṇi yojanānāṃ ghanāvanim |
himakalpajalāmbhodherullaṅghya sughanodarīm || 22 ||

Then he passed the frigid ocean of snows and over its icy tracts, stretching to eighty thousand yojanas (or leagues) in dimension.
