The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सप्तद्वीपाब्धिवलयं पुरपत्तनभूषणम् ।
सुरशैलशिरःपीठं ब्रह्मलोकशिरोमणिम् ॥ ९ ॥

saptadvīpābdhivalayaṃ purapattanabhūṣaṇam |
suraśailaśiraḥpīṭhaṃ brahmalokaśiromaṇim || 9 ||

They saw the seven continents with their belts of the seven oceans, and also the cities and towns with which they were decorated every where.
