The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.126.4

द्वितीयो नभसा नीतो रक्षसा विक्षताङ्गकः ।
निक्षिप्तो वाडवे वह्नौ तत्र भस्मत्वमागतः ॥ ४ ॥

dvitīyo nabhasā nīto rakṣasā vikṣatāṅgakaḥ |
nikṣipto vāḍave vahnau tatra bhasmatvamāgataḥ || 4 ||

Another of these was smashed in his contest with a Rakshasa, who bore his mangled body aloft in air, and then cast it amidst the marine fire, where it was burnt to ashes.
