The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शक्रचापे यथा भान्ति नानावर्णा नभोङ्गणे ।
तथा शून्यात्मका एव ब्रह्माण्डपरमाणवः ॥ ६६ ॥

śakracāpe yathā bhānti nānāvarṇā nabhoṅgaṇe |
tathā śūnyātmakā eva brahmāṇḍaparamāṇavaḥ || 66 ||

As the various colours are seen to shine in the rainbow, in the field of empty air; so these myriads of brilliant worldly bodies, are but vacuous particles appearing in infinite space.
