The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.125.28

किमविद्यामवेक्षन्ते ते तामरसलोचन ।
धारणायोगिनो ह्येते वरेण प्राप्तसिद्धयः ॥ २८ ॥

kimavidyāmavekṣante te tāmarasalocana |
dhāraṇāyogino hyete vareṇa prāptasiddhayaḥ || 28 ||

The learned yogi does not see any mist of ignorance, to obstruct his sight of the lights of truth; but the ignorant devotee is blind to truth, though he may be received into the favour of his favourite deity.
