The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.124.7

तेन यस्य यदायातं पुरो वस्तु विपश्चितः ।
स तेन संविन्मयतामेत्य तद्वशमागतः ॥ ७ ॥

tena yasya yadāyātaṃ puro vastu vipaścitaḥ |
sa tena saṃvinmayatāmetya tadvaśamāgataḥ || 7 ||

Hence whatever part of the prince, was conscious of anything, which presented itself before him of any time; the same is said to be the state of his being during that time.
