The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.121.16

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
अथैवमस्त्विति प्रोच्य पावकः सहसागमत् ।
क्षणादौर्वतया यातुं समुद्र इव सत्वरः ॥ १६ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
athaivamastviti procya pāvakaḥ sahasāgamat |
kṣaṇādaurvatayā yātuṃ samudra iva satvaraḥ || 16 ||

Vasishtha said:—“So be it”, said the igneous god, and instantly disappeared from their sight; as the submarine fire bursts forth, and vanishes at once in the sea.
