The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.120.1

सहचरा ऊचुः ।
एवंप्रायाः कथाः कुर्वत्पश्यैनन्मिथुनं महत् ।
पानं प्रवृत्तवत्सारं पातुं पद्मनिभेक्षण ॥ १ ॥

sahacarā ūcuḥ |
evaṃprāyāḥ kathāḥ kurvatpaśyainanmithunaṃ mahat |
pānaṃ pravṛttavatsāraṃ pātuṃ padmanibhekṣaṇa || 1 ||

The companions continued:—Thus the loving pair after taking to one another in the aforesaid manner; began to sip their delicious wine. And now attend, O lotus eyed lord to the other things of things of this place.
