The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.119.19

पुनः पृष्टोऽनया वक्ति पश्य तामेव संकथाम् ।
एष पार्श्वगतामेनां गृहीत्वा चिबुके प्रियाम् ॥ १९ ॥

punaḥ pṛṣṭo'nayā vakti paśya tāmeva saṃkathām |
eṣa pārśvagatāmenāṃ gṛhītvā cibuke priyām || 19 ||

Being then desired by her to finish his tale, he began to relate the remainder by holding her chin with his hand.
