The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.118.22

वरवने वनवातविसारिणां चपलचन्द्रकचारुतरङ्गिणाम् ।
इह पयोनिधिरेव कलापिनां विसृतमुक्ततयेव विलासनः ॥ २२ ॥

varavane vanavātavisāriṇāṃ capalacandrakacārutaraṅgiṇām |
iha payonidhireva kalāpināṃ visṛtamuktatayeva vilāsanaḥ || 22 ||

The rainy dark cloud which was carried by the wind from the bed of ocean, appeared over the forest lake and met with the gleeful dancing peacock below.
