The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.115.53

उन्निद्रकुड्मलदलासु वनस्थलीषु सच्छायशाद्वलघनेषु च जङ्गलेषु ।
ग्रामेषु संततफलद्रुमसंकुलेषु लक्ष्मीः स्वयं निवसतीव निवासहेतोः ॥ ५३ ॥

unnidrakuḍmaladalāsu vanasthalīṣu sacchāyaśādvalaghaneṣu ca jaṅgaleṣu |
grāmeṣu saṃtataphaladrumasaṃkuleṣu lakṣmīḥ svayaṃ nivasatīva nivāsahetoḥ || 53 ||

Methinks the goddess Flora has chosen for her abode, the blooming flowers in the forests; limpid waters in the marshy grounds, and in villages abounding in fruitful trees, and flourishing fields.
